on a secluded hillside in the south eastern corner of Tuscany. The rustic house enjoys complete privacy
and has a spectacular pool with far reaching views over the unspoilt
valley which offers wonderful possibilities for walkers. The house dates back about 200 years and
is of natural stone with large rooms. There is comfortable accommodation for 8
people with 4 double or twin bedrooms, 2 of which have en suite
bathrooms plus one extra family bathroom. The large kitchen and dining room occupies
most of the ground floor and gives access to a covered pergola for
outdoor eating. The sitting room upstairs has a large open fireplace.
The house lies within 18 acres of olive groves,
pastures and woodland. Nearest hill top town of Anghiari 7 km which
is good for local shopping has also a once weekly market. The Etruscan town of Arezzo is approximately
15 km away. Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Asissi, Perugia,Cortona,
all are within 1 hours drive. For art lovers works by Piero della Francesca
can be seen at nearby San Sepolcro (20 min. drive), Monterchi and
of course Arezzo and a little further away, Urbino. Nearest airports are Bologna Forli 1&1/4
hours, Bologna 1&1/2 hours, Florence 1&1/2 hours, Ancona
