Accommodation The house has five main bedrooms, three with en-suite bathrooms, two sharing a bathroom, and can sleep twelve people using two full-size folding beds. There is a downstairs cloakroom, and a shower room with loo located off the poolside terrace. Accommodation includes a large sitting room with television and a separate dining room, and a study/snug. Maid service is provided weekdays and there is a telephone which works on a meter. Baby-sitting can be arranged through our managing agent Tina Minshall, who is located in Santa Barbara de Nexe. Tina will supply a 'welcome parcel' of provisions on request. There is a good selection of boxed games and a holiday reading library. Fresh bed linen and bath towels are supplied weekly. The villa has a terrace with a barbecue, a ten metre swimming pool and an all-weather tennis court. The house and pool area are totally secluded, offering peace and privacy with distant sea views. There is a large garden planted with flowers and shrubs and a shaded area with seating. Casa Manjericão is an ideal holiday location for those seeking peace and quiet and an opportunity to enjoy sporting activities. If you want bars, discos and shops on your doorstep - Casa Manjericão is not for you! It is in a rural setting but within easy driving distance of Faro, Loulé and Vilamoura, where you can take long or short boat rides and fishing trips. There are many restaurants in the area providing a wide variety of local and international dishes. Two Z-beds are available which can be set up in bedrooms at a charge of £40 per person per week. No rental is charged for babies and cots can be hired through our managing agent at a cost of £30 per week. Villa rental includes all facilities, maid service weekdays (except Portuguese National Holidays), weekly change of sheets and towels, electricity, gas, water and satellite television. A welcome food parcel can be arranged if required. A non refundable deposit of £75 per person is payable on booking, the balance is due 8 weeks before departure, including a security deposit of £30 per person, refundable within two weeks of end of booking. Bookings in July, August and September are from Thursday to Thursday. Please note that the villa should be vacated by 10 am on day of departure to allow time for a thorough clean before the arrival of incoming guests. Access is not permitted before 2 pm on day of arrival, but if you are on an early flight you may leave your luggage at the villa and perhaps go for lunch or shopping to give the maid a clear run in preparing the house for you. The villa is located twenty minutes drive from the main golfing centres of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.
