the hill, where you will your villa. Set amidst acres of orange
grove, fig and olive trees. With no close neighbours it's
very private. Sit by your pool and enjoy the wonderful views to
the east and west over the coastal plain, and to the south to the
sea, and to the north the mountains of Monchique. It's half a mile from the village
of Alcantarilha Gare - where you will find a mini-market and small
restaurant. The main village of Alcantarila, 3 miles further on
has several restaurants and bars, and a church of note - full of
skulls! Another mile and you are in the resort of Armacao de Pera
which has a long sandy beach, restaurants, bars, scuba diving, etc.
Nearby is horse riding, karting, golf, tennis and several waterparks. Portimao and Albufeira are
twenty minutes drive away and have many shops and other amenities.
Ten minutes drive to the north is the old town of Silves: quaint
cobbled streets and a hilltop castle. Beyond Silves are the mountains
of Monclique and miles of open countryside. On the west coast, an
hour or so through the hills, you can find many deserted sandy coves,
even in July!

as possible the maid will clean 4 days a week. Bed linen and towels will be changed twice
a week. POOL The pool is entirely for your personal
use. It is 33 feet long and has a sun terrace with easy-chairs around
it. Extra towels are provided for sunbathing. CHILDREN Are welcome. The area is ideal
for them, with lots of countryside to explore and many amenities
in the area such as waterslide parks, fairground rides and the beach.
The villa's kitchen has a small table and chairs for the kids snack-time. FOOD There are no excuse for not eating
well on this holiday. If you're not too busy sampling the local
fish specialities or chicken piri-piri, then you can relax at home
and self -cater.
Distances The villa is approximately half
an hour's drive from Faro Airport.
