set in rolling farmland between the villages of Plumeliau and St
Thuria with 6 acres of private woods and lawn with ample space to
accomodate all tastes from peaceful reading to boisterous ball games.
The large pool (12x6) lies to the rear of the cottages and is surrounded
by extensive areas of open sunny lawn.
Bodion is an ideal base from which to enjoy
the many attractions Morbihan offers; the peaceful Blavet Valley;
the south coast (45mins); the idyllic Gulf of Morbihan; the ancient
woods of Lake Guerledan.

BISHOPS WELL COTTAGE: 3 bedrooms sleeps 6/7
Bishops Well Cottage sleeps 6+ in three bedrooms.
It has been lovingly and sympathetically restored to retain a wealth
of stone features and massive, whole-tree, chestnut beams (trees
when the Pilgrim Fathers sailed). The cottage is formed, in part,
by an annex of the Manoir which constitutes the lounge and master
bedroom above. The former boasts a magnificent slate and granite
fireplace. The master bedroom, a beautiful sunlit room built into
the roof to retain the king-post construction, is accessed by a
steep staircase from the lounge. It has a small mezzanine floor
(useful for an extra mattress if required) and an ancient armoire-
front amongst many features. The kitchen, bathroom and two smaller
double bedrooms are a modern conversion of a much humbler structure,
the cow byre, built alongside the house. Nevertheless, the original
beams, posts and roof structures have been retained. The kitchen
is furnished as a breakfast room with a larger dining table located
in the lounge. The bathroom has a shower cubicle (no bath) as well
as the usual facilities. The bedrooms are light and airy; the larger,
equipped with two single beds, has a large lucarne window facing
the front drive and garden whilst the other, with bunk beds, has
a velux window overlooking the cherry orchard.

Chained Heart Cottage is a converted milking
parlour and takes it's name from an evocative and enigmatic stone
carving on the facade of the main house. We hope the symbolism is
appropriate and that guests will find it hard to depart. The accomodation
sleeps 8+ in four bedrooms. It consists, on the groundfloor, of
a spacious lounge/kitchen area and master bedroom with en-suite
bathroom (bath/shower). Upstairs there are three airy bedrooms lit
by velux windows each with two single beds. There is a shared upstairs
bathroom with shower cubicle. The kitchen is fully equipped with
extensive work surfaces.
COACH HOUSE: 4 bedrooms sleeps 8
This fabulous conversion sleeps 8+ in an
unusual and exciting configuration. The main entrance has been glazed
to light up the downstairs lounge, a cool, stone-flagged area, open
to the roof beams and looking out onto an enclosed, dog-free lawn,
ideal for toddlers. There are two, twin-bedded, downstairs bedrooms
with a shared bathroom to the rear of the lounge. The upper storey
is a mezzanine overlooking the lounge. To the front there is a spacious
dining/kitchen area which opens onto a deck overlooking the garden
and swimming pool. To the rear is the master bedroom with en-suite
bathroom and above this a twin-bedded garret accessed by ladder
for the more adventurous.
